I am a self-taught watercolor artist. I paint because it makes me happy and I love sharing that happiness with others. If my painting brings a smile to someone's face, I know I have done my job well.

I love bold, bright colors and lots of contrast (light and dark). For many years, I painted iconic images of Long Beach, California, as well as other colorful seascape, landscape and floral images that caught my eye.

I spent a year in Sydney, Australia (July 2017 - July 2018), where there was an endless stream of beautiful architecture and other scenes that sparked my interest and creativity and I now have a collection of iconic Sydney paintings as well. 

In 2020, I moved to Clearwater, Florida, where I am finding many new scenes to paint. I have also been doing doggie portraits after getting and falling in love with my own labradoodle.  (And yes, I was photo-bombed by my doodle!) 

I am always happy to do commissions and capture your favorite scene or pet in watercolor.
